So I made this short sad/fluff piece last night. Check it out below
“Twi,” Applejack pleaded. “Ya hafta understand, I love Rarity with all mah heart.”
Twilight turned away with a hurt grunt but Applejack continued on morosely.
“Things just wouldn't work out between us sugarcube.” Applejack said as she took her Stetson off her head and nervously toyed with it. “Ah hope ya can understand that. An- an it's nuthin personal ya see, it's just... Rares an I... Connect with each other, like two peas in a pod.”
The atmosphere thickened around the two ponies as Applejack finished her explanation. The ball was in Twilight's court now; all Applejack had to do was wait... And wait... And wait.
The minutes ticked by as Applejack waited for Twilight to speak but it seemed like she never would. Maybe Applejacks words cut too deeply; cut too soon. Maybe, just maybe they-
“Hic... Hiccup...A-AJ?” Twilight sniffled through her hiccups.
Walking around to face Twilight, Applejack cautiously responded.
“Yes Twi?”
Again, Twilight was silent but only for a second.
“Was what we had real? Was our relationship; our love, real?”
Drawing in close to Twilight's shivering form Applejack tearfully admitted,
“Everything we had was real. Our relationship was real. Our love was real, but... but ah... ah don't think we knew what love; true love, really was. It’s different with Rares and I, there's a...connection.” Applejack finished weakly. Twilight collapsed to the floor landing in her pool of tears. Seeing her friends distress Applejack lowered herself next to Twilight.
“Look Twi, ah know this breaks your heart, you wanna know how ah know that?”
Twilight didn't respond but Applejack continued nonetheless.
“Because it breaks my heart seeing you so bent outta shape. It just ain't you an... an ah hope ahm not bein too forward, but ah invited our friends over so we can cheer you up.”
With that the door to Twilight's throne room burst open flooding the darkened room with butter yellow light from Celestias noon-day sun. With that light came the friends of the Princess of Friendship. Their sounds of merrymaking and revelry brought tears to Twilight's eyes but these were not tears of sadness, they were tears of joy; of happiness. Looking up at Applejack, Twilight uttered three words.
“I love you.”
As for the new MLP Movie and Episode I like them as they provided writing material and some interesting stories. That is all I really have t say on them. Please don't Spoil stuff for others.
As you read above, I wrote pones; mostly because I couldn't sleep. They fix everything up to and including duct tape. I said I had updates so here they are:
1- I have finished the entirety of the story line for Letters From a Princess to a Dragon Lord. So once I flesh out the next chapter I'll post it.
2- I'm tearing apart As Time Flew because I've become disillusioned with the way it was going. That and after talking to my Uncle about his job and what it entails I've decided to change several things. As for what they are, ya'll are just going to have to wait for the redux.
3- Family, School, Work, Writing. Family takes precedence over School, School takes precedence over Work, so on and so forth.
4- Recently I've been working on some shorts to get over my writers block. They are mostly scenes from some prospective 'fics. but, yeah once they're polished I'll post 'em.
