I kind want to also write a sweet fanfic about the bonds of friendship between the two. Because I haven't done that yet. Like there's a strong bond of love, but not really romantic or sexual love. Discord wouldn't be shipped with anyone in this story, really. He might have a very small crush on her, but nothing major, and it would be sort of hero-worship like. It would be pretty innocent in the realms of the show, but hopefully entertaining. Kind of like C-Puff's stuff (but no where near as good. :P )

Yeah, I've thought about trying to write this sort of fic, it's just admittedly a little hard when one's head has been in the shipping zone for a while. But I think you could pull it off really well tbh.
And it's nice to have a lot of ideas and feelings about what you'd like to write even if it's kind of all over the map. :3

Beginning to think I might only write the hot bits for the other fic, with added context so people know what the hell is going on :P
I would like to explore Discord and Fluttershy growing up as children together, though. I suppose I could always do that in the other fic.
Alright... how about... Discord goes to a meeting with his family, which will be cosmic gods, and bring along Fluttershy. They do not approve of his relationship (friendship, love, whatever crosses your mind). It could be played out as a comedy, or like an adventure where Discord needs to hide Fluttershy and convince his family that she's not so bad.
This is a really quick thought out idea, but maybe you can work something out of there.
