For those of you not in the know, I work retail- in a card store no less- so as holidays get nearer, my free time shrinks. So I don’t have that chapter update of The Last Unicorn Princess ready, nor do I think I will be done by next weekend. I’ll try to post it before February ends.
Sorry sorry sorry, I don’t have the next chapter of The Last Unicorn Princess ready to post- although I’m sure longtime followers kind of expected this of me. 
I had a lot more real-life responsibilities come up that made juggling my projects all the more difficult- but I will post the next chapter- with illustrations- next Sunday. 
Entry #13- Regrets and Remembrances · 3:48pm Sep 3rd, 2016
I hate that almost every blog entry has me apologizing for a lack of updates. Life happens and I can only promise to do better next time. I have a couple of short stories in mind- one is almost completely written- that hopefully should go up soon. The almost written one is a little prequel to the Family Origins #1, so will go under that tag. It will also have black and white illustrations to enhance the story.
As it’s been a while since I’ve shared my thoughts, I have quite a few season six episodes that I can share my thoughts with. Here we go:
The Gauntlet of Fire- I really like dragons, and trials, and that Spike finally has a non-pony love interest. Even if we don’t see Ember for a while, I still like the fan-art and fiction that came of her. I’m in no hurry for Spike to get a girlfriend- he’s just a kid! But I like the idea of one in the future.
No Second Prances- They didn’t leave on bad terms in Trixie’s last appearance, so I’m not sure I understand the animosity between Twilight and Trixie in this episode. Mama Twi doesn’t want former antagonists influencing each other? She doesn’t treat Luna and Discord like this.
I also don’t understand how that magician did the trick without a unicorn assistant in the 1st place, but I doubt either will be answered. My head canon is that Starlight joins Trixie to help her act in episodes Starlight is absent. You don’t hang out with your entire group of friends ever minute of every day, so why should every member of the Mane Six be in every episode?
Newbie Dash- This episode was painful to watch. Not sure if bounding over one’s failures is healthy.
