All of the above. You could even do MLP episodic posts and then do something with the gang outside of what happens in MLP episodes. And by including all of the above, it gives you greater flexibility with writing the story. So if you're blanking out on shipping, you can make like Michael Bay and have epic pyrotechnic explosions. Or have some of the gang hang with Pinkie Pie. Or mess with Zephyr Breeze and have the guys joke about mishearing his name as 'the fur!'
So that is my vote, and the best one that I've seen, in my opinion.
