Sonnet #1
by CoffeePony
What pain it must be so,
That a young girl like her,
From this world forced to go,
For death she will prefer,
Rather than live an endless lie,
Pained by curses and whiles,
Happiness to her denied,
Yet in the end she can but smile,
While she crumbles all inside,
Her soul shatters to pieces,
Her heart scorn and petrified
And the rope grabs her like leashes,
The chair stumbles down,
Her smile turns to a frown.
