They reported you first, so you FFXIV got banned · 8:03am Aug 24th, 2016
You could have left. You could have put up with the party longer. But instead you got salty and insulted your party, using what could reasonably be interpreted as an ethnic slur (regardless of how you actually meant it). You also apparently didn't report the discrimination you feel you've had, so why do you expect SE to do something about it?
Just play overwatch or something for a couple of days and learn to manage your salt better. And if you feel you're being discriminated against, report it.
First of all you take this waaaaay too FFXIV Gil seriously. Second, its 2 days not a lifetime ban. There are a million and one games to play to tide you over for 2 days. Last, and most importantly, you were also a jerk in the chat it seems. They said some mean stuff, and so did you.
They reported you first, so you got banned. Also for you to get banned the gms must have read the chat and saw you deserved it. There is no oppression or suppression as you say. You were not being cool so they told you to go sit in the corner for 2 days. End of story. You'll live.
Wait wait wait....you are accusing them of being "racist" then you start throwing out racist insults and racial profiling? Really?
How about.....don't be an asshole and you won't get banned? Maybe they were learning the fight? We don't even have the full story. Was this through PF or RF? If PF, what were the conditions?
My assumption, they were doing a learning party, you came in expecting a clear, they didn't play up to your standards, and instead of helping them, you just want to quit. When they don't want to, you start insulting them. Like, they literally did nothing except say no to quitting and you just start slinging insults.
Yeah, you deserve a longer ban than what you got. I reiterate....don't be an asshole.
To be fair, if it was a NA RF they Final Fantasy XIV Gil probably would have abandoned after the first 1-2 wipes. It is one of the interesting things moving from NA to JP servers, JPN players will carry on wipe after wipe, whereas NA expects it to be one and done or bounce. Guess it's a cultural thing of patience compared to quick gratification.
I get the frustration of being in a party that's not doing as well as you expected, but you could have kept quiet until it was over, or just left. I don't think SE has to give out warnings either. the rules are written out and we all are supposed to read and agree to them before playing. If what the other players said is as bad as you make it seem, they should face some punishment too, but you started the name calling and harassment, so your punishment is fully deserved.
