It'd just be a way to make it actually work how you're wanting it to work, much like Astro's cards. If you detonated it early, yes it would be slightly misaligned, but you could just hold it the maximum of 15 seconds it would be misaligned in order to realign it.
Oh. I get what you mean now.
While we're discussing hypothetical changes though, Spear can modify cooldown durations on the fly, so it stands to reason that it's not impossible to invent a new type of skill with a cooldown time that changes dynamically so this modified Wildfire always ends up at 90s.
Also give SCH a passive that takes some of that ~50% chance for Physick to crit and give it to Adlo's 0% chance .
I know it's confirmation bias and they have equal chance, but it really feels like Adlo has a "Crit chance -99%" and Physick inherits all the crits.
Bard: Battle Voice removes the 15% damage reduction on Mage's Ballad and Army's Paeon while active.
Monk: Something that can grant meditate stacks somehow throughout combat... Like every time you reset GL3 (although that's probably too powerful.) As it stands, the concept is neat but also pretty useless aside from an extra 5k hit in the opener.
White Mage: Mana cost reduction on spells while using Presence of Mind. It'd be nice while holy spamming or cure 3's, for example.
I agree with the Monk change, especially since it really bothers me that the Forbidden Chakra has a 5 second recast timer, but you hardly refresh it in lengthened fights unless there is a pause or required movement. I would just make the change that the meditation stacks only apply when you are in GL3 and outside of Perfect Balance. It would be a large dps increase, but it wouldn't break the class, since they'd have to refresh GL3 for the stack.
Plus it would be even more obvious DWT just got wasted when my 3 stacks count down from 15s to 1s while staring at a dungeon boss that hasn't been pulled and then I use it, and the entire DWT phase runs its course, and THEN the tank pulls. Maybe having an animation of Bahamut biting the tank's head off would be a nice touch in that situation.
Yeah, I actually wish we had wings like in LB3 while inside DWT, but smaller or something. Not that I'm bad and sometimes start spamming Ruin 3 before realizing trance didn't go off or anything.
I don't even mind the tiny Egis, I like them. But it's weird how even for our LB3 we don't actually old-school summon Bahamut. I mean, on BLM we summon an entire meteor...
When you summon a Primal, it Buy FFXIV Power leveling comes with your expectations of it.
As in, you summon Fake-Bahamut with the expectation that it will obliterate your enemy, but won't cause another Calamity, so it does that.
It'd be different from literally summoning Bahamut, just like when we summon Titan/Ifrit/Garuda we're not summoning the full-on Primal, except rather than summoning a fraction of a Primal, we're channelling everything into summoning a full-on Primal and the power of a full-on Primal is a fraction of the power of the Elder Primal it's based upon.
