Good news for The Alicorn Cutie Mark

I have now finished working on the novel I started some ten, fifteen years ago and have re-written three times. With some free time available as I decide what I should do next about it, I will be focusing my attention on The Alicorn Cutie Mark beginning the 20th of April. I will be trying to drop chapters in batches of three, so here's to hoping nothing comes up to call me away (which I do

    The Alicorn Cutie Mark

As I am now about two weeks away from graduation, I have started updating The Alicorn Cutie Mark. All chapters have been pulled for revision and I am hoping to have a new, revised chapter posted by June. New image added, which I feel suits the story better, especially for where I am thinking the story might go after the revision. Will possibly alter the description of what the story is

Have six plus pages of notes of were to go with the story. I'm planning to start working on the story after I am done with school in May. Update on The Alicorn Cutie Mark and The Faithful Assistant's Lie

To anyone reading this story and waiting for the next chapter in The Alicorn Cutie Mark or The faithful Assistant's Lie or both, I apologise for not having posted anything. Lately, I haven't had time to write anything for these two stories, mostly because of the nonsense the university is pulling, but also because of my job, plus starting a summer internship and working on revisions

Update on the Alicorn Cutie Mark · 5:37am Aug 23rd, 2016

Having lost most of my notes for this story I have decided to resort to doing what I believe I do best - making it up as I go. I have some ideas for where I may take the next chapter and have already written at least a page, though I may delete some of it, as it doesn't flow rather well. If I can get the time, I will continue working on this story and, hopefully, have something new posted for it within the foreseeable future. However, as this story is now going beyond what I had originally planned (a good thing?), with only three chapters serving as a beginning middle and end, I can assure any reader that the story isn't dead, just taken longer to decide what I wish to do with it now and where I should go that will both leave me happy as a writer and you happy as the reader. Thus, until I can figure that out, it shall remain with the "On Hiatus" status.

Update to previous comment

I have gone through and re-read the Alicorn Cutie Mark and made some minor changes. Most of these changes have been deletion and re-wording of things I feel are sloppy and inconsistent. This doesn't mean there are still things that could be edited and if I go back re-read it, I may find some of these things. In the process of re-reading what I have typed, I have hand-written a page worth of new notes (here's hoping I don't misplace them) and from those new notes I have typed about three pages for the next chapter (the one page I did have typed pretty much ended being re-typed).

I have better ideas of where I may go with the story and have decided a couple things that people may or may not like. The one decision I am willing to reveal at this moment is that this story is no longer tied to the Anime-verse that the G4 cartoon exists in and is now tied more to the comic-verse. This I feel gives me more room to work with and doesn't fully hem me in by forcing me to conform to making the characters match nearly exactly what has been depicted in the cartoon. I feel that it also helps to further clarify as to why I attached the alternate universe tag.
