The Times are a Changeling.... Or Not. · 6:01pm Aug 20th, 2016
I'll try to keep this spoiler free.
Just watched the latest episode... And honestly, everything felt off to me. That could have just been a number of plot holes or events that should have most definitely occurred Such as the predatory instinct that should have come out a lot of times... But the thing is, I can't get mad at it. Because it's a show for all ages, and there are bound to be issues. But anyway, onto a few things I noticed:
Marx Brothers reference----> I enjoyed this.
About The Changeling:
His appearance is different than the uniform ones we have seen before, leading me to believe he is not from the same familial group of sorts, his magical flame is blue instead of green furthering this idea for me.
He also seemed to be vastly different from the rest of the young Changelings, and I don't know why... As usually people are a product of their environment and he wouldn't have known better but whatever.
Skiping any more that I noticed. Many may ask what this did to my stories?
Absolutely nothing.
Allow me to explain, they never went into any depth with the Hive, or anything about Changelings accept for their little... Primal thingy... And even if they did, honestly I never noticed. Most of my ideas were kept in sync and they never even mentioned the possibility of other Queens or even talked about Chrysalis.
Also there is a part where Spike says the Changeling was his Pen Pal.... The First thing on my mind was: 'When did Spinnekop get in here?' followed by 'I can't believe that worked....'
So all in all, not much else to say... Everything was decent, I'm just slightly worried about Thorax becoming a main character, as the Show already seems to have an issue with that...
So... Nothing bad, nothing lore altering, pretty much everything was fine.
Well it's a good thing nothing too altering happened. Bevause I'm too drunk off vodka to comprehend anything right now.
This episode didn't deny any fanfics, because the comics and movies confirmed the existence of alternate universes.
