    50ish Weeks

Wow. Seriously I have been unable to load this site for that long.

    In other news:
    Pros:
    I am still alive
I am not in Afghanistan (Haven't been for a fairly long time)
    Cons:
    Not in the US
Not in a location that furthers my contract (contract can be considered "extended" for the foreseeable future)

It has been brought to my attention

    That my cousin:

    1: Got himself a DVR
2: Got himself a YouTube account (finally)
3: Understood that GoldenArbiter becomes incredibly bored

    I am alive

As the title say, I am.

Onwards to what has nerfed me from this and many other sites. (I've been gone, what, a month?)
    1. I have been really busy due to my work with an average of 108.5 hrs of my being active in my job.
(If that doesn't make full sense, ask and I might be able to explain better)

Yesterday (Sometime this morning Stateside) I had the joy of being with some Brits as their QRF :pinkiehappy:
I think that I shall have some pity or something for them :unsuresweetie:
Reason: My unit joined their convoy back to their base after assisting them through a firefight. The convoy was hit by 3 IEDS and 1 additional ambush before we had gotten back to base. Once on base we had 1 additional firefight followed by 3 hours of "peace." Then another firefight...

The cherry on top then presented itself with all its glory (O ye pervs), when it is revealed that it had been a normal day for them - they are a "static" unit...

Had a big stick/small log hit my turret from one of the IEDs going off, mouth still tastes like wood dirt/dirt wood :pinkiesick:
Also managed to get sniped, my helmet has a very unique valley where the round when (it looks cool and I get to keep the helmet :pinkiehappy:)

In return I got a shower (totally worth it)

Note: There is no sarcasm in this Blog, I am being genuine

And that, young foals, is why we need more vehicles armed with the HK GMG. Rain ALL the explosive death upon them!

So yeah, my day consisted of almost missing a bus. :trollestia:

Stay safe out there!

352365
Ah German engineering, nothing is better (until maintenance is no-longer observed)

Better than being missed by bus (1:23)

Will do to best of ability mate!

Yup... That's the British for you... Also, you know you're gonna have PTSD when.........

352485 Pretty much, Brit=No Manner of luck

Also, you know you're gonna have PTSD when.........

What? All that happening when your a non-moving/roving unit, if so, then yeah....big time.

352505 Poor Brits. When you get the chance, take a picture of the helmet. Also, afghan snipers apparently suck... who aims for the head? Seriously... Always aim centre of mass.

352515 Probably will in a ~week(net's weak). They have a tendency to(as well as the Pakistani and etc.)

who aims for the head

COD/BF/MW gamers dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/Spike_lolface.png

352566 Lol. Very true. But it's such a small target......

352573 The main reason snipers almost never trained to aim for it, unless very specific parameters are met (dependent on a lot of variables)

352582 You... uhh... never finished your sentence. Also, I know how the American sniper academy operates. It's quite nifty.

352640 I didn........blasted voice to text program (not actually typing these, I'm generally in the turret when doing it)
Pretty cool guys to hang with, all snipers are! Indubitably :moustache:

352651 Shouldn't you be... you know... Keeping an eye out for shit? I mean... That's the gunners job... At least in Canada it is...

352657 I am, the only time I'm not scanning is the glances I throw at this screen - Laptop is connect to second monitor, which is up here.
I read the comment through these glances, only time I really read is on base.
Didja think I'd let Bill and Rico down when "on the clock"?

352669 What are you even in? And do the Brits still use the Warrior IFV?

When used possessively, "its" does not have an apostrophe

353361 Right now I'm in a cot dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/lolface_Celestia.png (~18:42 here, will rest now*), But usually we use either MRAPs(Oshkosh M-ATVs), or BAE Caimans and rarely RSOVs or IFAVs, . The Brits I was with were using their variant of MRAPs, pretty sure the same as Americans, But I don't know the answer to your question.
*Rest does not mean sleep
353577 Thank you for improving grammar and I think only ye would be so studious of that area.

355018 I am greater than a cot? I'll accept that (Cot is a noun to which one sleeps/rests on, it elevates the user to a point above the ground)
Otherwise dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/misc_Octavia_O_O.png

359672 I was raised in a country where the most one was expected to need/use math was: "The cost of/is X and how much руб(currency) do I have?","What is speed limit and where I am in relation to it?" and "I am here, destination is there. How do I get there and how far is that?"
Sad but true.
That and after (I think about this level) Algebra 2 stuff made exponentially less sense dl.dropbox.com/u/31471793/FiMFiction/emoticons/shrug_Derpy_Hooves.png
Loved Geometry though:heart:
Last reason, I don't consciously use anything "higher" than that - so it doesn't/will not stay in my memory :ajsleepy:

361818 Why?
I genuinely do not understand.

The blog has been read!

Hot damn.

362042
Yup "fun" day, used ~40 lbs of ammo for my dismounted weapon (M240B) and used ~50% of the mounted weapon's ammo [M2A1(Browning .50)]
Really loved the shower at the end of the ordeal/beginning of the next day.

The blog has been read!

Does that mean they were all read or something else?
My CO is letting me smoke (Tobacco, She's not that open-minded) and I'm taking full advantage of it and loving it!

362063
Yeah, I read them all. There weren't that many.

362100
Does that mean that you don't have vehicle or simply desired to answer not?

362218 I doubt that I can argue against that :moustache:

352515 Update, I can't upload any pics of the helmet until my tour is up :fluttershysad:
The reason I was given was OPSEC.
