Sabaton just released a new song about the Battle of Shiroyama.

It is awesome.

For context, the Battle of Shiroyama was the last battle of the Satsuma Rebellion, which was led by Saigo Takamori. In it, 500 samurai fought against the Imperial Japanese Army, led by Generals Yamagata Aritomo and Kawamura Sumiyoshi. The samurai were slain in their entirety, marking the end of an era.It lasted about a day- September 24th, 1877.
