Suicide Squad Review · 1:08pm Aug 6th, 2016
Saw Suicide Squad last night. 7.5/10. Definitely better than Batman vs. Superman. Margo Robbie nailed the insanity, personality and badassery of Harley Quinn, whose character stole the show, and Will Smith's Deadshot wasn't far behind, as he played the role with proper nuance--an assassin for hire with a soft spot for his daughter.
The character interplay and action wasn't as good as, say, The Avengers (what could be?) but it was quite watchable and enjoyable all the same. Villains are always fun, and even the Joker had several notable scenes, played with gleeful abandon by Jared Leto.
There were a couple Batman cameos for spice, but this was all about the bad guys, and I include government agent Amanda Waller in that list. She was suitably manipulative and nasty, nearly as bad as the bad guys she recruits for her government-sanctioned superpowered strike team.
Batman vs Superman disappointed somewhat, but this did not. I believe it'll be worth a second look as well. My recommendation is to see and enjoy!
PS: Captain Boomerang's a brony!
As crap, nice.
How's work and stuff? Still a royal pain in the rectum?
...I gotta wait for this film to be in Netflix or something. I can't go into cinemas.
My sister also said that Suicide Squad was good, but Batman vs Superman still sucked regardless
