Whoops! Today I was meant to write Shining Chitin Redux, instead I wrote more Given Shape. I will rectify this tomorrow!

Spent most of today feeling bleh, blood sugar is a touch high, flu, ear infection... so to try and help with all of those, going to be heading out to have a nice steak dinner at a local pub. Low in carbs, high in yum.

I am putting off talking about the last chapter in Given Shape, (not the 'last chapter', just the previous one). A lot of feeling and focus has gone into this, I threw my heart into the story as much as anything else and I hope it comes through with the emotions I intended. But there is more to it than just the feels. Events are changing, the world is moving on. This wasn't a small/slow event, like the CMC gradually growing up, or a mare's belly growing. Poop really happened, an event that has shaken a town.

The mane-6 are growing into parents, having foals and shifting focus to raising them and keeping them safe. The world has proven it has teeth, but now, more than ever, Twi and her friends have more reasons than ever before to save it.
