Good News & a Point to Make

Hey, Orion here. I know it's been awhile since I've posted a blog or made any new stories, and that is because I am very busy most of the day, but I wanted to thank all who shared their time to read Mare in the Woods. As the title says, there is an important notice that you should read after the break.

Since the story was posted, some of the readers have asked - and demanded - if there will be a sequel. Well, the good news is, you're only half-right.

When I said there isn't going to be a sequel, I actually meant it. However, I have been giving it some thought for a while, a long while mind you, that I have decided to make a "Bonus Chapter". Consider it as thanks for making it into the "Featured" box.

BUT, do not expect that I will get started right away; like I said earlier, I am very busy on the weekdays and rarely do I get a break on the weekends. I can assure you that it will be done, and I intend to keep my promise.

On a side note, though, I received a dislike along with a very rude comment on my user page from another member, namely one The Red Butcher, who probably didn't even read the story, about using the Cryptozoology idea in the story. This happened five minutes after I checked out my story, and it bugged me a bit where I had to call him off, delete his comment as well as shut him up (permanently *) before he tried to further embarrass himself. With that said, allow me to make a few things clear to assholes like him:

First off, I don't have an ego and my head is not in my ass, thank you very much. Second of all, I came up with this idea because I watched the Paranormal shows out of boredom and entertainment. I was not looking for any "Five Minutes of Fame", as you would so put it. Sure, I may have had some paranormal experiences in the past, or so my mother had told me, but I was too young and ignorant around that time and I don't recall any of it. Therefore, that still makes me a skeptic today. Unless you have something else you want to assume to me and further embarrass yourself, I would suggest you back off and let me go where my imaginations take me, or else you will find your own head up in the ass, Hancock-Style.
