Ok, so let's talk about my plans as far as stories go.
Yes, there will indeed be a sequel to Atonement for a Wayward Dragoon. I've already begun writing it, however I don't plan on releasing chapters until after the summer. I'm aiming for a story that is just as, if not longer than the first story.
Even if the second story is months away, that doesn't mean I won't leave anyone without content. I plan on doing about two one shots.
Luckily, I've finished writing one of the said one shots, but I need to meet with my writing consultant to work out the kinks.
I should be getting it out this month.
But even then, I wouldn't want to leave you high and dry so
Trixie Lulamoon ran into the darkness after the debacle with the ursa minor. She finally stopped just beyond the outskirts of Ponyville before she muttered, “Curse you Twilight Sparkle!” Her eyes burned a deep crimson with anger. “Beyond Trixie is why those foals did that is ludicrous. It just makes Trixie’s blood boil! That is the last time Trixie lets fans get too close.” The showmare trotted angrily until she heard the flow of a stream. She stomped her hooves through the shallow water only to find that a wheel from her cart had become buried in the stream under some mud. “Grrr.” Trixie growled. “Next time, Trixie will spend more on wheel treading! This is hardly the time to be in need of assistance!” The showmare was so caught up in her anger; she could hardly care where she presently was. She sat down in frustration and rubbed her head with both hooves. “Trixie, where is your composure? Your power is in your showponyship. It grows with an audience, but you mustn’t let it dwindle.” Trixie got up from her spot and moved for her cart. “Just a minor setback, for I, the Great and Powerful Trixie will arise from the ashes like a phoenix. Trixie makes this pledge for certain!” Trixie will captivate every audience; she will conquer every adversity! All of Equestria will be enamored with her performance! The thought of a simple puddle or know it all librarian almost making a fool of Trixie is preposterous! All that Trixie needs to do is stand up before she crumples. This is the only way she’ll persevere. After all, Trixie is gifted with charm.” The showmare put a hoof to her mane, but quickly retracted it realizing it had mud on it. “Trixie is bestowed with great poise and in as much is certainly unworthy of the ire Ponyville has set upon her. Hooves will stomp and cheer for Trixie once she shows that Sparkle a thing or two!” Just let her try; the next time, she won’t be so lucky! They’d be fools not to see how great and powerful Trixie is!” The mare then jumped atop her wagon. The showmare looked majestic in the moonlight, but was unaware the wheel had become unstable. “Trixie will destroy all your expectations Ponyville, mark her word! Through it all, the power lies in presentation. You will be made a fool Twilight Sparkle and I… er Trixie will possess the title. Be it hill, high mountains, or even dragon, Trixie will not be a slave to ridicule anymore!” the mare held a hoof outstretched at the last declaration, which shifted the weight of the wagon and knocked her into the stream…
Are we going to have an arrogant equivalent of Dark Knight Cecil redeeming herself atop the mountain of Rainbow Falls before the ghost of Moon Mufasa? I guess that Trixie Lulamoon's selection as our main character is no coincidence- moon is even in her name.
Or maybe she's just going to be a goofy girl Golbez controlled by Chrysalis standing in for Zemus with the whole mind control thing.
I don't know, and I love that.
Can't wait to see what's coming!
