Beating the Heat

All the misconceptions start with the words,
"God is it hot..."
And in realty, I agree. It started with school and the teachers who were old fashioned about turning on the AC. For multiple days straight I found myself disregarding everything and sweating my metaphorical tail off.
This hindered everything I wanted to do, like moving, checking out books, writing and seeing people. Fans didn't work nor did our AC.

Seems like I'm complaining now... Hmm...

I guess all the bad things are out of the way, and I've been trying to find the good. Like, Ice. Those little cubes of frozen water are heavensends from the freezer.

So with that in hand, and me trying ny hardest to move around, I found it easier to write. It was better than staring at a blank TV screen all day. Powers been out for a long time.

So, I've been beating the heat. Figuratively and Literally. I'm hoping that it'll get cooler soon, but hoping and it actually coming true are different things.
