Paris log: Notre Dame, Latin Quarter and Eiffel Tower · 8:48pm May 19th, 2016
Very busy day today! In ten hours of sightseeing, we visited Notre Dame, the Latin Quarter, the Sorbonne, the Louvre (didn't actually go in), and the Eiffel Tower. Pretty awesome!
Notre Dame makes a kind of spell descend over you as you enter, with its enormous, echoing interior and great organ. I'm not a religious man, but I definitely felt a presence there. Admission is free, too!
Unfortunately, the spectacular view from the Tower was blighted by the Tour Montparnasse, hands-down the ugliest building in Europe. Oh well, can't have perfection.
I often heard that a lot about Notre Dame.
