Not Technically Dead

So I'm sure most of you are probably thinking, "Oh wow, Ti is alive?", or "Who's this person, and why am I following him?". That's right everyone, I live on! Sorta.
Work related goings-on have completely taken over my life for the past year or so, and while a lot of good has come from it, I have mixed feelings about it. In the past year I've had to drop most of my hobbies, and have fallen out of contact with many friends from both online and IRL. I am not ok with that. Spending 12+ hours a day at work has gotten me ahead, but at the cost of my outside life. So in the interest of getting my life back, I've made some changes. Some REALLY BIG changes.
First up, I quit my job. They aren't happy to see me go, but I'm doing it before I burn out because I actually value my health sometimes. I don't have another job lined up yet, but I have enough squirreled away that I should be set for a little while at least.
Second: I'm up and moving most of the way across the country. Picking up shop and putting it 3000 miles westwards. It's been a dream of mine to move to California, and I'm finally going to do it. Very exciting, but also very nervewracking (see above note about job), but fortunately I've got a couple of AWESOME roommates who are moving out with me. We've got a house, 1 job between the 3 of us, it'll be great.
Third: I have no life, and that terrifies me. So I'm gonna start trying to have one again. I know my word on that isn't worth much, but I'm afraid it's pretty much all I have left other than an addiction to coffee. I went to EFNW (I was the guy in the banana suit), and did the Iron Author competition, and had a ton of fun doing it. Met a ton of great folks, and I hope to go to many more cons afterwards. Other planned stuff will have to be put on hold till I secure a steady source of income (Tattoos, Motorcycle, Skydiving, etc.), but in the meantime, it doesn't cost me anything to write.
