I am such a coward! · 2:08am May 19th, 2016
Hello
I wish I had the nerve to post a silly little story, but I'm afraid of looking bad, and what I mean by bad is having to subject myself to the grammar police, and critics.
So did anyone else have this problem as well with their first stories?
I did, but I published not long after. There's nothing for you to worry about really. If your story gets more downvotes than upvotes, that gives you room to improve, assuming people give you constructive criticism and what not. Criticism is what molds writers and lets them know what's up and what needs to be done to improve.

Thank you, I'll do it, but I am not gong to sleep well after I do...
It's always hard putting yourself out there. Even once you build more confidence in yourself and your abilities, there's still the age-old question of whether other people will like the thing you spent time and energy on.
Sometimes it doesn't work out, and you pour yourself into something that people ignore. Sometimes you misfire, and it doesn't turn out as well as you know it could have. Sometimes both things happen, and it gets discouraging.
Still though, the only way to get better is to put things out there and see what happens. If you haven't found your niche, then probably the best thing is to keep trying different things until you find something that works... and then trying it again, and seeing if a similar formula brings similar results.
