    Dear Sony...

What the fuck is this fucking bullshit about fucking needing to be fucking online to play a fucking single-player fucking game? A fucking PS2 game from fucking 2005 doesn't fucking need a fucking Internet connection to fucking play it. So my laptop died.

After five faithful years of service, it seems my laptop has finally entered the last stages of its life. Got the infamous "click of death" last night.

I've already picked out a new one, but it'll be about two weeks before I get it, so I'm afraid my latest fic will be delayed for a while. Sorry about that. Hopefully it'll be worth the wait.

    RIP Shamrock95's laptop

Paris log: Disneyland · 4:49pm May 18th, 2016

There really isn't anything I can say about Disneyland that hasn't been repeated ad nauseam in the past. It really is as magical as everyone says. Also, two words... Space. Mountain.

The mood was only slightly dampened when we got back to board the RER back to Paris. A group of heavily armed soldiers were patrolling the platform -- a grim reminder that France is still very much a nation under threat.

*hugs* At least you are safe and you got to have some fun.

3954432 Still kinda scary. The Irish Independent made a map just after the Brussels bombing of how safe it was to travel to various nations in and around Europe. France was given an orange status -- the same as Israel.

3954444 The best advice I can give is to adhere to the warnings they give and the map provided, and as long as you stay with your group you will be alright. So enjoy the trip as best you can.
