The Thug Life Chose Me
"Everybody oppressed by the DL, LISTEN THE FUCK UP!!!" Rainbow-Dash yelled in the front of the auditorium. All eyes went to the leader of the RB.
"You all always complain about the DL's evil... How they done you wrong 'n shit... How they scamming you, killing you, finessin' you... But what do you do? NOTHING!" RD preached.
"What's your life about? Enlighten me." RD asked rhetorically.
(She's trying to say that they don't care about their life if all they do is complain and don't act.)
"Is you gonna live on ya knees, or die on your feet?!" RD asked passionately. She then assimilated what she portrayed the people who always complained and did nothing as.
"Oh, but Dash, they can't lose!" RD said dumbly with a deep-throated, dumb laugh.
"Bullshit! You niggas must admire defeat!" RD yelled, frustrated with the ignorant views. She was, after all, living proof that they weren't invincible.
"Oh, but RD, we can never get a chance to talk to you no more! How we gonna join up??" RD said, reassuming the dumb character.
"Shut the fuck up, you lying fool, you know where to find me! I'm ALWAYS grinding on these streets! My point is, whoever is in that crowd, boohoo-bitching, and ain't doing shit, shut the fuck up!" RD said.
"But y'all wouldn't listen to me, cause I'm no Star Swirled The Bearded! Fuck y'all, maybe you'll listen to someone who seems more academic than me then." RD said, tossing the mic to Twilight.
"Lemme tell you about my past... Been running around alone in this world since I was just a little child!" Twilight began, passionately.
"RD was my role-model, she ain't take shit from nobody. Anybody who gave her shit, they were catching a body! At 15, I'm in the back-alley, being initiated to the DL; can you believe that, a good kid like me being forced into that Hell?" Twilight spoke.
"Hopped ditches, and skipped school; fellowship with the gang members, but goddammit, I still do [good for myself]!" Twilight said passionately
(At this point, assume that Star Swirled is synonymous with Einstein.)
"My point is, good kid or bad kid, you 'oughta look past all the labels, and see the person for who they are! So all of you badmouthing RD cause of her upbringing, ponder on this:
Just imagine if Star Swirled got high, and sipped juice; broke rules, got pussy, beat up rookies, and went by street rules? You'd probably call his ass the best thing since Principal Lu-Lu." Twilight said, dropping the mic.
RD and Twilight shared a gaze and a mutual smile. RD nodded, approvingly...
