So... I will not be attending Everfree Northwest this year. As much as I hate to say it, I won't be attending due to some health issues. For those of you who either have not read my most recent blog or did not know in general, I was recently bit by a brown recluse spider, as the doctor suspects. We cannot be sure, for I did not see the spider, nor am I sure when exactly I was bitten. I'm suspecting Sunday night because I happened to be under a porch (because reasons) around eight pm-ish that night. While the bite isn't horribly bad (I don't have necrosis), it... hasn't been well in the past few days.

The place where I was actually bitten at looks great. It's pretty much gone. However, I'm experiencing some decently bad joint pain, which seems to be a symptom of the bite. I started experiencing it on Friday, and I've had it ever since. It doesn't seem to be going away. I have a doctor's appointment set for tomorrow to see what's going on, but my mom has made it clear that she doesn't want me to go all the way to Seattle with this stuff going on, and I completely understand. Therefore, I've decided to obey my mom's wishes and not go.

If anything, I should be able to give an update on all of this after the appointment tomorrow. I'm hoping it's nothing super bad, but I'm getting bad headaches and joint pain. I'm not looking forward to this, yet I am. Here's a hope for the best.

On some lighter news, I'm working on a story. It's a Pony on Earth fic, and I think it'll be pretty good. I'm gonna credit my friend Suke for the idea; it was originally a collaboration. I don't have a name for it yet, but it's being worked on. Its prologue is even finished... well, the rough draft of it is. Here's hoping to some good stuff.
