Yo! It's been a while, hasn't it? I haven't posted anything on here since 2018 lol, and lemme tell you that a lot has happened since then. As it happens to everyone, time changes people, and that includes myself. It's been rough out here to be completely honest, but I'm still vibing. I've just turned into a bigger hippy and a more hardcore leftist, though. I'm finally out of college (not because I graduated tho—thanks Covid), so I definitely have a lot more free time now. I'm just working full-time and living with a few good friends of mine, which is actually a great time. They're total dudebros, but I definitely got them into anime (but it's a fair trade, as they're genuinely teaching me how football works because literally what the hell is that? It's so complicated for legit no reason. But I'm gonna watch my first Super Bowl ever this year, and I'm very excited for it!)
Either way, I'm posting this as a general update to anyone that still uses this site, and that I haven't talked to in far too long. But, with this post, comes an update. Ya boi has officially wrote a whole chapter for a new story they've been workin' on. I'm most likely gonna post it later on today when more the site has a bit more traffic. I really have no idea how active this site is nowadays, but I remember it being a great resource for beginning writers (and hobbyists too) to get adequate critique from an unbiased audience, which is exactly what I'm after. It's gonna be a good ol' Human in Equestria fan fiction, but I promise it's gonna have a twist, and it will be worth it. I've had this idea swimming around in my mind since freakin' high school (and I'm a solid 23 now), so I am hype to get this out.
After rewriting parts of it over and over, I'm actually happy with the first chapter, and I really think I've improved as a writer, though as I write this I'm definitely doubting myself haha. Please read it if any of y'all have the time to, but no pressure! Thanks to everyone that's followed me on here during a different time of my life. You guys seriously rock, and I've made some amazing connections on this website. I hope to come back and post a new chapter weekly (at the very least). Here's to a nice, new story where I'm finally able to get the creative juices flowing again!
