Hey guys, I hope you can help me here... See my profile pic? My first OC and for once I'm having trouble thinking of a good color to complement his blue coating! 
The black is fine but I have some worries pertaining to color involving the combination of red and black. I'm not bothered by such details but others could think differently and then some. So I decided to try thinking of a color that could match his blue fine except I suck at thinking of a good color to go along his calm blue! Can anyone suggest a color here please? I'm in dire straits here! 
Orange maybe? Or maybe Aqua?

Turquoise or pink?

Try the color opposite on the color wheel. As you can see, I did the same. Except the reverse of your OC, as my OC's hair is blue and it's coat is tan. Still, it really works.

You should try something along the lines of a purple for the eyes maybe. Or just lighten the blue coat a wee bit.
