Remember when I said I would be finished rewriting by October Fifth? ...Yeah. Hehe.
Anyway, I'm making progress. Kits, sonic30, and a new editor Galactic have all been helping me help myself and get this story under wraps. Envy and Arrogance 1.2 should be out around the end of October, but this time I'm going to let you know that I'm not guaranteeing anything. But, to tide you over, let me outline the changes I've made so far.
1. I've fixed or am in the process of fixing all of the mistakes I mentioned in my previous blog post.
2. Many of my OCs were edited. Saphira has been made more timid, Lyvia's been developed more, and Deception's personality has moved away from being a carbon copy of Envy. As such, their scenes have also either been edited or have been completely written from scratch. Yes, you read right, there will be several completely new scenes in my story.
3. The music system has been rearranged completely. A lot of unnecessary prompts and unneeded music was removed, as well as combining some music and otherwise making it easier on the readers. I'm still in the process of fixing the music system. However, as sonic30's told me, since I'm the first writer to really try and sell it, to make it a part of my writing, the difficult part is perfecting it.
Besides that, I am also writing Guilt and Hate on the side. I'm a busy pony. Chapters 1 through 3 are done, and I'll be working on a fourth soon. I believe it's safe to say I'm prolific. But, unfortunately, I'm not going to publish those chapters until I get Envy and Arrogance back on the air. Priorities are essential for any writer.
