Fan Expo, the pictures · 10:40pm Aug 26th, 2012
Well I had a blast and it was great meeting other FiM Fic bronies... hell I loved meeting ALL the bronies and I got more bro hoofs in one day then I have had people admit to liking MLP... aside from people online. SO Without further adieu PICTURES
I'm sorry I missed the CMC patch on her cloak in this pic. SORRY APPLE BLOOM!
I'll pretend this was Dr. Hooves
And the group shots
umm... The 3 pics I got of us at the Pickle Barrel appear to be missing... I'll post them when I find them.
Oh and before I forget, Anime North is apparently going to be another brony meet up. So those of you near Toronto this November... start planning
313796 umm... Rarity is a girl, also did you miss the male Pinkie (the only pinkie on Saturday, the one on Friday had a Party Cannon... I'm so jealous) Dashie and Fluttershy?
313813 we all did, let's put it this way, I brought 3 bronies. That was the largest group to come together I'm told, so yeah I'm kind of proud of that.
We also sang pony songs and made a cop VERY concerned when we started chanting "Crush, Kill, Destroy, Swag!"
313851 I think I got all but one of the cosplayers that were there on Saturday. That last one was a... heavyset RD. This sounds horrible but the pics I took of her all ended up being blurry
313873 You don't read my blog posts do you?
Let me put it this way. My last paycheck was 138 hours, this one will be about the same. I've been working myself to death all month. Ch.4 was released right before I started working 45 hour weekends on top of my usual shifts. Until last Monday I had 3 days off in the better part of 5 weeks. 120 hours would be 60 hour work weeks, I passed even that. Those figures also don't factor in transit which would be 3-5 hours A DAY.
On the up side even after spending the equivalent of my rent for the month on Fan Expo I STILL have enough money on this check to pay all my set expenses for 2 months.
313898 I work Event security for a living. I have one of 8 corporate positions (permanent hours) in the company. So I would do like 32-40 odd hours during the week then work like 45 hours during Friday-Sunday.
Here's some of the stuff we've done this summer Much Music Video Awards, Elvis Festival, VELD (no clue what that stands for but it was a big house music festival with Deadmau5 headlining (may I just say his music ALWAYS makes me want to sleep) we did Heavy TO (heavy metal Toronto) Wakestock, WEMF (World Electronic Music Festival) and aside from Wakestock I worked every one of them. Oh plus our usual nightclubs, conventions and other stuff.
313944 The... original raver crowd despises him. I don't particularly like it myself but it's my job to work it, not enjoy it. But the Mau5 is apparently a good guy as well as rumored to be a brony, so I'll cut him lots of slack
Looks like your covered in, *puts on glasses* PONY SWAG
