Dear Silver Quill, It's not about ego, it's about the Elements of Harmony.

For a while now, something very obvious has seemed to escape the Brony Analysis Community, and it seems to have come to a head with this latest season finale. Toon Krytic Y2K was salty because Starlight Glimmer wasn't punished, and Silver Quill was a bit put out by the Mane Six being so critical to Equestria. He was annoyed by the ego that Twilight had about her friends being so important.

Today's episode. WHAT THE FREAK?! Mind. Blown. Seriously. BLOWN!

They finally make Diamond Tiara more than a one shtick pony, and give Silver Spoon a backbone... and the Cutiemark Crusaders... They get their cutiemarks because they're good at being... Cutiemark Crusaders and helping others figure out THEIR true selves?! WHAT?! What the freak?! I... still...

Friendship Games. Oh My God, Friendship Games

This has to be the BEST Equestria Girls Movie, yet. The plot was interesting, the characters were well done and funny. The antagonist, Principal Cinch, was hateable to the degree of UMBRIDGE. My GOD, that WOMAN! She... is that world's Umbridge... She really really is.

And... Trenderhoof, and Fleur at Crystal Prep? Did you see 'em, too?

And that post credits ending, yo. Hilarious!

    Season 5 Opener

I have to say it wasn't bad.

The map was a unique addition, and the village of the Stepford Smilers was rather unique local.

And we may have a vision of what would have happened if Twilight Sparkle a. tried to make friends and had it go wrong, and b. went totally evil. But this Starlight Glimmer didn't seem to have Twilight's social awkwardness...

    Recurring villain, anybody?

    Canterlot High Chronicles

If you've been keeping up with my stories, you'll have probably noticed that I've canceled the Canterlot High Chronicles. One: I feel like it is not, really my story as such. It's not one that focuses on Sour Grapes and the Storm Riders, but instead Private Eye, and Twilight Sparkle, and all the humanized versions of Jacoby1's characters, and their relationships. Two: With the release

Sour Grapes - Character notes · 3:42am Jan 25th, 2012

Sour Grapes

Female.

Cutie Mark: A bunch of Grapes

Obviously Unicorn, but classifies herself as half Unicorn, and Half Earth Pony.

Has very limited unicorn ponykenesis: Can lift things, one-at-a-time, but can't manage, like, a tray of drinks or multiple items to allow them to interact. Also can hornwrite, but can not levitate what she's writing on, and hornwrite at the same time.

Also has a very grape-specific Earth Pony earth sense, IE the ability to know when an Earth Pony's crops need fertilizer, water, etc etc.

Had to embrace both sides of her heritage because she has no siblings, so she has limits to her abilities.

Due to her being in charge of the temporary workers, she's taught herself to read pony body language. She's very observant, and tends to tease ponies she likes about their clandestine passions. Doesn't make any reference to her own love life, or lack there of, because she tends to be rather clueless about the whole thing, and can't seem to see herself in a relationship. If she were to be approached, she'd be, well, absolutely stunned. This is due to a particularly horrible experience at a Grand Galloping Gala when she was younger.
She would never judge anybody for following their heart, because of her parents doing the very same, but would wonder if a pony was sane for falling for a snarky asocial winemaker.

She is also uncompromisingly honest. Especially when asked direct questions. She will tell somepony exactly what's on her mind, especially when asked, directly. Though, her honest answers can also include "I don't know", or "I can't tell you".

Oh yeah. I almost forgot to mention. Sour Grapes is afraid of heights. REALLY freaking afraid of heights.
