Good day, my non-existent followers and whoever else happens to peruse my page! Today, there is nothing that can get me down. Afternoon here in [town name redacted], Georgia shimmers, afternoon here shines... Today, I got a call from my Senator's office, telling me that I have received an appointment to the United States Military Academy. That's right - Pon'ika is goin' to West Hoof! Now I can finally back all of my tactical comments up with some real military experience! About 9% of people who apply to West Point get in, so I am experiencing all of the yay right now. ALL OF IT.

And, since I can't grow facial hair for the next ten years now, have a mustache as well.

Now, since I'm going to be off at basic in July and then in rigorous coursework after that, I'm afraid I won't be able to do any more editing after that point. Ahh, well, only one author volunteered so far anyway.

Anyway, I look forward to saluting you all as a Lieutenant of the United States Army in four years.
