    Taking a break from Friendship is Abundant

    I'm not exactly content with the characterization on this story, so that's why I'm going to practice character interactions with the My Little Pony/Invader Zim crossover that I just started. Once I feel confident enough with my writing abilities, I intend to do major edits to FiA to improve its overall quality.

    Since I usually watch recorded new episodes of My Little Pony right after Adventure Time and Regular Show...

    ...I was rather late with learning that Derpy got a canon personality. I managed to update the first four chapters (I gave her a small part in chapter three) in order to make FiA Derpy closer to canon and more entertaining at the same time.     FiA Episode 5 Status

    I got about 2/3 of my latest chapter on Friendship is Abundant finished. The last third will be from the POV of a certain unicorn.

    I haven't been able to get a chapter done a week like I would of wanted to, but I'm confident that I can post at least one new chapter every two weeks.

    What to expect for Episode 5 of FiA

    This will be the first chapter with a friendship report. Spike will develop a crush on a certain unicorn. While Twilight is preparing one day in advance for a picnic celebrating the first week of friendship, Spike finds the perfect opportunity to get closer to the mare of his dreams.

    I'm not sure if I can get it done in a week, but I'll try my best.

...I was rather late with learning that Derpy got a canon personality. I managed to update the first four chapters (I gave her a small part in chapter three) in order to make FiA Derpy closer to canon and more entertaining at the same time. Since I began watching Invader Zim a few days ago, Derpy in The Last Roundup sort of reminded me of GIR. They both cause problems because of their stupidity, so I decided that Derpy is a bit like GIR and went from there.

Now that I got that resolved, I'll continue working on chapter 5 starting today.
