Hey, so as long time readers will know, I've been struggling on and off with depression for... basically the entirety of my writing career (and adult life). It's been okay for the last while, but since this summer, I've been sliding back into it, becoming less communicative and more closed off as I lock myself in with my thoughts more, which... isn't the best way to be. Definitely not the best way to deal with depression. Anyways, this isn't me fishing for sympathy or something, I'm just explaining that because of that, my writing's fallen down to 1,000 words a day, roughly. Maybe more some days, but that seems to be where it's at right now. Plus, there are some days (like today) where I just fail to get anything on the page at all (though, thankfully, they're a rarity).
So, I guess this is just my way of apologizing to everyone for content slowing down. I'll try to get the next chapter edited and out before the month's out, though. Hope you're all doing well.
Take as much time as you need! I also live with depression, so I know how bad it is. Always try to remember that you have friends, even if you've never met them in person.
3769602 Thanks for he kind words and understanding. I'll have to apologize to Sweetie tomorrow for not giving her any attention today. Happy to have friends whoever and wherever they are.
Take as much time to write, there's no need to rush things, focus on your recovery. Get well soon
Dude, don't even sweat it. A thousand words a day is a ludicrous speed compared to some people (including me).
You don't need to apologize for something like that. You should write because you enjoy it and want to not because you feel obligated. So write at any pace you damn well please we've no right to complain considering it's free.

Thanks for the kind words and thoughts. Haven't done anything much in the last two days and am having an ingrown toenail hacked out tomorrow morning, but I do have a big scene next on the writing agenda (which is still several chapters from what's been published).
