Is 3 Fallout: Equestria stories too many? · 12:00am Feb 13th, 2016

So as you may know I currently have 2 Fallout: Equestria inspired stories going on. Ballad of a Crystal Pony, was my first and followed the overused trope of "Stable Dweller gone wasteland Hero" and is in its 8th chapter...soon to be 9th. It is also currently being revised and likely will have some rewrites. Adrift, my second story set in the same universe as the other and happening around the same time, is a more unique mystery story set in a still functioning stable that gets washed out to sea. That story is undergoing rewrites and will not return until they are finished...I'm nixing the waiting until 5 chapters thing.

Anyways, I just came up with a new idea for a story. This will likely be set in the same universe as the other 2, but 200 years before. Yes, my new idea starts with the mega-spells falling. What I'm here to ask is:

Is 3 Fallout: Equestria Stories too many?

Should I finish one of the other one first?

Hey ComicSans, is it alright if I can take a look at some of the writing you did for "Ballad of a Crystal Pony"? I am currently writing my own FoE story called Fallout: Equestira - The Gates to Hell and I want to mention your story and characters in it as a kind of prelude to the events of the main character in my story. If you don't want to, I understand.

4415524 As you may be aware, I canceled and subsequently deleted "Ballad of a Chrystal Pony" and the connected story "Adrift". In my mind that means the events of the stories didn't happen, but the characters and locations do still technically exist. I'm actually reusing the Applewood setting and the mysterious Collector (who lived in the MOA Hub/warehouse there) in my new work in progress fic. So I don't mind you using locations or secondary characters in your fic, just actual events to some degree might be hard to reference. I don't feel too comfortable actually linking you to the google docs of the story (which do still exist) because I'm self conscious about them, but I can provide you with any location description, character descriptions and personalities, or lore elements use in my fic to be included in your fic.

Alright. If I need to know anything about it sooner or later, I'll let you know.

But, at this point I really want to know a bit more about Stable 13 and its social project. How things were run and how a particular situation would be handled. A situation like an escaping Stable Dweller.

Stable Number: Stable 13 (Actually miss numbered and was supposed to be Stable 18)
Stable Location: Siren Cave, about 1 day's trot east from Detrot
Current Overmare: Grand Diamond (she has asked at least 2 generations by faking test scores so no one is high enough to qualify)
Experiment: The social experiment that Stable-Tec set forth for it was that of genetic perfection, particularly that of a twisted gold standard of beauty.
Culture: This Gold Standard separated the stable into 2 groups, the Desirables and the Undesirables, and each foal is judged on these standards shortly after birth. The desirables are usually set up to marry another with a similar score. The mare in each generation with the highest score is deemed the next overmare. While the Desirables live a lavish life of luxury in the upper levels of the stable the Undesirables are relegated to the lower, maintenance levels of the stable. The Undesirables were the ponies that kept the stable running, but are unanimously hated by the Desirables. The Undesirables are forbidden from procreating, if they do the parents are sentenced to death and the foal is judged like any other. If it is deemed Desirable it will be adopted by a family that could not otherwise conceive a foal.
Job distribution: Overmare (mare scoring the highest Gold Standard Test Score of each generation), Maintenance/cleaning/food service (Undesirables), Teaching (Desirables), Security (Desirables, but they are not trained to use weapons and rarely wear armor), pipbuck and computer technician (only mixed Desirable and Undesirable job posting due to both having pip bucks and terminals in their part of the stable)

Local history: The cave was said to be the last known home of the sirens and superstitious ponies believe the cave is cursed. During construction of the stable there were numerous accidents that lead to the joke that it was Stable 13 they were building because of all the bad luck. This lead to it being miss numbered as 13 instead of the planned 18. The megaspells fell before the error could be fixed. when the megaspells fell the first Overmare, Superstar, let several hundred unregistered ponies into the stable, notably a few crystal ponies and even a few zebras and Zonies. There is also rumors of a crashed spaceship south of this location, but they have yet to be proven true (this spaceship was a lead in to a Mothership Mareta arc in my canceled story based around Fallout 3's Mothership Zeta that I never ended up getting to)

They would let the dweller go as long as it is an Undesirable. They would use force to keep a Desirable in the stable.
