So last year for Father's Day, I did a small tribute...
...and I decided to get a little jump start this weekend on Mother's Day for a couple of reasons. The first is that there are a lot more official mothers on the show than fathers, especially after adding Season 5 into the mix. The second, is that I'm such a procrastinator, it probably still won't be finished by May.
Still, I'm making a list and checking it twice, and hopefully all of the moms will be there. Once would think that my rules for an appearance would be simple: Show canon, not headcanon (sorry Derpy and others...)
So in no particular order:
Ma Hooffield - Hooffield clan matriarch.
Spoiled Rich - mother of Diamond Tiara
"Millie," mother of the baby in the Mare Do Well episode
Twilight Velvet - mother of Shining Armor and Twilight Sparkle
Apple Leaves - mother of Apple Tart and seven others...
Cookie Crumbles - mother of Rarity and Sweetie Belle.
"Mama" from Somepony to Watch Over Me
Cloudy Quartz - mother of Limestone, Maud, Pinkie, and Marble
Granny Smith - she didn't get to be a grandmother without becoming a mother first.
Mrs. Cup Cake - mother of Pound and Pumpkin
I feel like I'm missing some, though.
