So, I'm actually gonna do it

Hello there! Zinitrad here, announcing to the 1 or 2 people who actually listen to what I say, that I am, in fact, going to begin working on my fanfiction. I will begin the actual writing of it on the weekend, but it may be next week before anything is published.

The story is going to be titled "First Contact: From the Mouths of the Ponies", and it will be about a young investigative reporter (I think that would be the term) who has decided to make a report on post first-contact Equestria, the newest member of the H.G.A.. (Its only been a member for 45 years.) The story will be set up with his interviews as the chapters. I already have ideas for a couple couple of interviews, so I will have plenty to work on.

A short description of the reporter:

species: Human
sex: male
age: 37 (He looks like what we would consider to be a 19 year old.)
Home: He is from the city of Lear, which is an orbital city of Uranus.
height: 6'6", which is actually considered just below average for a modern outer solar human.
race: what we would consider Caucasian.
hair color: brown
eye color: grey
Name: Ian Bik Miligaux

This documentary will be his first real project, and the farthest he has ever traveled in his life.
The story will take place in the year 6268 (65 years after the first episode)

The Aging mare named Dinky Doo, who was a young mare when the first contact occured, describes the state of panic and excitement that happened during the beginnings of the contact, from when it was announced that a signal was received from space, to the first landing by alien spacecraft.

Double Bass, daughter of Vinyl Scratch and Octavia Philharmonica (Vinyl is a biological parent, Octavia is a legal parent), who was just a little filly during the first contact, talks about growing up with the changes, and the revitalization of the Equestrian music scene that occurred after contact.

Vivamus, a changeling immigrant to mainland Equestria who was only a hatchling at the time of First Contact, talks about the peace treaty between changelings and Equestria that was mediated by the H.G.A., her reasons for immigrating, the hardships she would face, and her struggle to fit in in a world that had not long ago considered her a monster.
