Chapter 2 info · 1:21am Aug 26th, 2012
Earthbound- A term used to describe human culture or things associated with human culture from before the mid 22nd century.
Ponies do have weapons and they have had wars. While simpler and less bloody than wars as we think of them, ponies are not goody-goody two shoes and do have the capacity to hate. They are not, however, unrealistically and horrendously racist scumbags as some stories depict them when going for a dark tag. Basically, they are less competitive, and a shitload of human wars can be traced to competition for resources or pride or other bollocks.
Anyway, what I am trying to say is, if Magitek humanity did turn out to be a threat, they would fight with everything they have. It would be a losing battle, but they would do it. Oh and also, despite what I said earlier, ponies do have a unfortunate tendency towards casual racism.
Oh, and just as a little tidbit, have some background info for that human who walked out of the spaceship!
Name: Lenko Rodike Aderisov
System/object/city: Sol, Titan, Volaksgrad
Age at time of contact: 82 (Our equivalent of a 39 year old man)
History: Lenko was born in 6132. His parents owned and ran a deli, an establishment he would work at in his early years. In the year 6185, he joined the military, where he would train as a scout pilot, in the hopes of higher education and to see other parts of the galaxy. Unfortunately, 3 years into service, the Hergzine war broke out, and he was sent to the Scutum-Centaurus theater, and later, as that territory was lost, Anti-coreward end of the Perseus theater. He was fighting defensively in the siege of Edge when D.A.V. reinforcements arrived in 6199. He also participated in the retaking of Lumine from Hergzine forces at the end of the war in 6203. Later, in the year 6214, he was chosen to be one of the individuals assigned to the H.G.A.S.S Ramses, which was given the mission of arranging first contact with Equestria.
Equestria first came to H.G.A. attention when the pursuit of a high priority Hergzine target in 6203 took them to unknown space and into a relatively small irregular magical system. Noticing evidence of the presence of Sapient life, the H.G.A. made sure to remember the location of the system for later purposes.
