Just a Moment and some Harmony's Creed Sequel Info (spoilers if ya haven't read HC) · 10:19pm Jan 24th, 2016
Going back and reading some of Harmony's Creed to be consistent for the sequel and Under Loyalty's Flag led me back to some chapters. Usually, when I look back a chapters, I find some terrible errors and writing choices that make me go "was I high when I wrote this?" However, sometimes I also impress myself.
One of those was Discord's monologue about Harmony. Yes, this is gonna basically be what the Sons of Discord believe in.
"If you say so, miss 'I'm always on the right side.'" Discord jeered. "I hope you realize the irony in what I just said. You Assassins, although I applaud the effort, are so disillusioned with your Creed and Harmony. You don't even know Harmony. You wield it like a child wields a wooden sword. It's quite effective against the imaginary dragons, but fails miserably in a real fight. You think that Harmony will win because you are good. Because you are not evil like poor ol' Discord. Let me tell you. Chaos is neutral in the realm of morals. It is not good, nor evil.
Harmony, however, sounds good, quite painfully delightful to masses, but in reality, it is no better than Absolute Order. It is corruptible, immoral, forcing others to be like-minded. The only difference is that they are not physically oppressed, just mentally. You force them to be loyal, always happy, have no choice in lying, no choice in being alone and without friends, never rich due to constant Generosity, and treating those who treat you unfairly with sickening Kindness. If they don't do that, they break Harmony. And what would the Assassins do? Well kill them of course! It's the best option."
So yes! Work is still being made on Sons of Discord (though I'm still not sure if that should be the title). I will put up a preview sometime this week. I'll also tell you that it will have a first-person viewpoint from A.K. Yearling. Also, I can finally use images of DJ Vinyl!

From that last spoiler I have one question, what twist are you planning? I have one idea but it is way to dark for how you tell your stories.

This story may be not very dark, but it will be way more...uhh...brutal. The Sons of Discord are not some noble Assassins.

I was thinking dark as in how Spike may try to bring back Rarity. As for the twist I figured that you wouldn't be telling, because of surprises and a certain pink mare may not be happy if they where told.

Bringing back the Last set of bearers would involve some serious necromancy. And probably the body's and/or parts of them and the elements as well.
