Should I Continue?

I've been pondering my recent story and I'm considering discontinuing it. Should I keep writing the story, is it going in a direction that any of you like? I was hoping to get a slightly larger reaction to it in general and, aside from the recent comments I feel as though the story may be a failure. If I could have a little more input to the story or an increased show of interest I will gladly continue the plot.

I haven't read it, but if you're entertaining anyone at all by continuing it, go ahead and finish it as best you can; it's the classy thing to do and it's good experience. A story is really only a failure if causes more harm than good.
