Happy new year I guess. A time for recovering old fanfics, and looking at new ones.
My attempt at doing a three part scary story fell through the roof and I never got that holiday fic out. So I guess I should REALLY look into finishing a fanfic. I'm not going to set a date to this but suffice to say it, I've been experiencing a lot of burnout lately. So we'll see what happens.

It's been rough. There's a lot of factors going into my burnout, so I think I'll try to focus a little on whatever is causing it. I know the Megan fic is definitely AU now. Like it wasn't before.

All teasing aside I would love to see more out of it but these things take time. And recognizing the problem is the first step in dealing with it.
I do hear you about the factors that cause burnout though, it's never just one thing is it?

Numerous injuries. Holiday burnout. Game burnout. Fanfic writing burnout. General burnout. Illnesses being treated. Appointments galore.
It's been a very busy few months leading up to now when I have some breathing room.

Yeah. Well, at least my renewed interest in ponies and FFXIV has given me food for thought for a AU Crossover set in Eorzea focused around Twi and Sunset. I keep coming back to Sunset in fics, so I might weave a little story based on the numerous storylines of FF14 with a bit of Pony Mythos.
3694595 That could prove interesting Pandaren. I do like including Sunset in my stories too. She adds quite a bit to them, and I love adding Megan to my stories. Megan, like Sunset has just so much to offer.

3694616 Yes that would help a lot. I've some vague ideas about an Elder Scrolls Online/MLP crossover, but it isn't "catching" as it were.
Oh well on to other things then, there is no point in getting upset. I'll have to take your word on the game though, I haven't played it so you're my best source on information on it.

A lot of aspects about the FFXIV world are mutable, as long as you don't overwrite the roles of various important NPCs. There's so much room for a sort of pony-based race of man, or even working the team into the six races of the game. Either way, there's a ton of room for detail, and a lot of worldbuilding to do.

I have the basics down at least. Twilight and Sunset as paired Arcanists (Math and Strategim Mages), one going into Scholar (Healing) the other into Summoner (damage). Rainbow Dash as a Lancer aspiring to become a Dragoon, Pinkie the Bard, Rarity a ninja, Moondancer a senior Arcanist, along with Trixie the Thaumaturge (Pre-Black Mage). Fluttershy the Conjurer (Pre White Mage), Applejack the Marauder (Pre-Warrior).
Celestia will be taking the role of the Warrior of Light, the big FFXIV Hero/Player Character as a Paladin. I'm still debating on who gets to be a Pugilist (Pre-Monk) though. Luna is definitely a Dark Knight.
