Hi there. I don't normally blog on this site at least, but I felt I should make a little update to those people waiting for the next chapter of How to be Kind.
...It's coming. I'm working on it. But I've just slowed down a lot from my chapter-a-day speed. Between work, snow storms, and all the messiness of not being a full-time writer, I'm down to ~400 words per day. Considering the average chapter length, that's pretty slow.
The current chapter's about 66% done by my reckoning. Hopefully it'll be up this week or very early next week. After that, I'll try for shorter chapter with more drama as the plot intensifies. So; I'm not dead and sorry for the delays.

Apologies for hijacking your verse. It just spoke to me. But I'm a bit burned out writing wise, and the news about Alan Rickman's got me down. Rather than writing, I'd rather find a way to share the works I've already written so I can receive feedback and improve, yet I don't do the social medias stuff that well. It's frustrating, but so I go. Thanks for the poem!

Don't feel bad. I hijacked it from the Grey, with Liam Neeson. If it spoke to you, maybe the movie will. I like what you did with it.
I need to tell everyone about your book. I loved it. In my opinion it is right up there with name of the wind. I will admit at first I was not a fan of the name Pirate, but it grew on me.
I am not sure how to put the titles, of the movie and book, in italics or I would.

I will have to add that to my massive list of movies to watch. I also deeply appreciate how much you like my book -- putting it up with The Name of the Wind is really flattering.
Also, to italicize things just use CTRL + I.
I would like to publicize books and stories I've written, but it's tricky even on a site with tons of readers like Fimfiction. I could link my profile here to my blog and other stories, but not many people check out profiles anyway. Making a post on a group...? Probably not effective. I guess I've got to write something and get it featured for publicity.
