Yes.
Let's forget for a few minutes that the fourth generation of Pokemon is my favorite generation ever and focus on the real reason I'm here speaking to you. You must have heard the rumors by this point that there might (and most likely will be) a Pokemon Z version. But what then? What's there to do with generation 6? Well, I'm sure GameFreak has a few tricks up their sleeves, but we all know they'll eventually run out, right? That means it's on to gen 7!
Next in line for a remake is Pokemon Diamond and Pearl, BTW.
As much as people absolutely hate the fourth generation, we can't deny it was probably the most important one. But because of this unrelenting hatred, people simply don't want a remake of the game. But that's where everyone is wrong. In fact...
I believe a remake is exactly what the fourth generation needs.
Updates to everything would improve the games drastically. Updated music, updated visuals and updated characters... Oh, and how could we forget the Mega Evolutions? Could you imagine... at long last... Mega Crobat? Mega Weavile? Mega Infernape?! All this would make the games so much better, so why are people still against the very idea of it? Could it be that D&P left a bad taste in their mouth and they simply don't wish to touch it ever again.
Well, remember generation 3? Before gen 4 came around, it was regarded as the worst generation ever. But now we're cheering for it's remakes. Why? Could it be that time has done something good for RSE? Could the same thing happen for DPP? Who knows? All I know is that maybe people should stop for a moment and just appreciate the games for what they are.
I won't deny though that Platinum was 1,000,000 times better than Diamond and Pearl. I mean... only TWO fire types, D&P?
Actually... maybe I just want a remake of Pokemon Platinum...

Oddly enough the 3rd generation, my favorite I didn't get but this I'm excited for!
Also please increase the player speed because it was the slowest of any series...even WITH the running shoes...the speed of the player movement was slow. (Remakes of Gen 1-3 fixed and added things that were needed)
