I've got an excuse, of sorts.
My dad doesn't like the fact that I'm a brony, so I avoid watching it while he's around.
I feel too awkward to watch it around my mom.
The current chapter that I'm working on takes place during an episode.
I need to watch the episode, in order to get the dialogue right. Which means each part gets repeated half a dozen times.
Considering I'm not home alone all that often, it's taking awhile.
The chapter is the entirety of Nightmare Moon's return. So, episodes 1 and 2.
It took me four weeks to get episode 1 done. I've barely started episode 2.
I apologize, and believe me, I WANT to get it done. I'd love to progress in the story (I'm working on another chapter, for later on, that's really unique, even compared to some of the ones I've already got). I've just got only a small amount of time per week that I have to work with. And it's slow going.
Nevertheless, chapter 15 is almost done (comparatively). After that, I'll check to see if chapter 16 needs to be another episode. If it doesn't, then I've got a really unique and (in my opinion) awesome chapter to put in.
