Yes, indeed! Following from Oreonna's origins, yet another creation has been... created. This time, it's one of Oreonna's friends and teammates: Maybelle Daffidys. Doesn't she look like she could kick your ass without even trying? I still can't believe this whole thing started because I said I crackshipped Tukson and Neo...

This girl is an OC my friend LongSean22 made for a thing we're doing. Once upon a time, I said that I shipped two characters from RWBY named Neo and Tukson. One was evil and the other was dead, respectively, so the ship wasn't technically possible. So we made a kid. Now, he's making a team for said kid and it's Fan-TASTIC!

What about a team of OCs that each have different powers? Oreonna can teleport, and Maybelle here can manipulate gravity. And before you say that stuff like that is normal for OCs like these, most, if not all RWBY character have a power to use, or a semblance if you will.

...I think you may have to read into a few of their weapons as well, buddy.
Maybelle's club is also a cannon. It is able to create shockwaves and sometimes even earthquakes if struck hard enough. Oreonna's weapon uses vibration to it's advantage. The bow charges up energy when it plays the viola part. Said energy is then used as either increased melee damage or long-range firepower. The strings on the viola-shield are also extremely bouncy, meaning any attack directed at it will send the attacker flying away, or the projectile flying back to the attacker.

That's exactly it, mate. It has the same formula as Dark Souls, yet somehow, someway, they managed to up the difficulty, up the lore, up the environments, and up the pacing. It's like Dark Souls, only it has it's own formula enough to stand on it's own as a game.

Having no shield means you're faster and can dish out more damage.
(Plus, you sorta get a shield? But it's still classified as a weapon, so...)
3658005 If you can't block, or parry, I'm not sold. Having a shield is a BIG part of Dark Souls, but I'm sure I'll understand once I play it. I played all of MGS1, 2, 3, 4, and PW without a shield, so it couldn't be that hard.

Dude, I've seen people turn down Xenoblade Chronicles X simply because it doesn't have the Monado. It's like saying "I want an onion sandwich, but I wanted 28 onions, not 27". You get the picture?
The fact is... this ISN'T Dark Souls. Already I've blown your theory out of the water, but wait, there's more. Having no shield, as mentioned before, has it's benefits. First off, you move WAY quicker. Second off, you can now hold two-handed weapons and dual blades. Finally, do you really want to sacrifice this:

One does not simply shrug at the fierce deity's mask. The power of the Fierce Deity god and a huge-arse sword that shoots lasers makes even Ruby's sythe/gun look like a nerf gun.
