I first got into My Little Pony back during my second year of high school and have been a fan ever since. I love a good story, and hope to bring many good stories to readers for many years to come.

    A New Start

Hello everypony. It's been a while since I really posted anything here on Fim Fiction, I know. You might be surprised to see this, but I am still around and kicking. Heck, last thing I posted was all the way back in 2017 I think. In any case, I've been thinking a lot recently of where I fit into the fandom and where I stand on fan fiction writing.

    Happy Turkey Day Everypony!

Well it's that special time of year again everypony. The leaves are turning yellow, orange and red, it's getting pretty chilly and families are gathering together to share their love and then all slip into a food coma.

    To Change a Changeling

Alrighty then. Well I goofed up this time. I started watching the episode before I started this blog, so my first few thoughts aren't exactly my first reaction but don't think that will change much. Any-who lets see what we go going on at Love-Bug-Horse's place.

Emotional Support Needed: Really Not Okay Right Now. · 4:30am Dec 18th, 2015

Hi guys...

I'm not exactly sure how to say this, and I honestly dont think I should really trouble you guys my own personal problems, I know everyone has there own things they have to deal with... but I just really need some help here. :fluttercry:

You see... during this week my mom hasn't been feeling that well. She's been really tired and has been working her but off to bring in the income but... yesterday, things took a turn for the worst. She became very ill and was secluded to her bed. She went to go see our family doctor to see what was wrong and next thing I know she's being taken to the emergency room.

She's not okay. Apparently she unknowing had been taking an unhealthy amount of L Lysine and now her liver is poisoned. The doctors are saying that she needs a transplant or she could die. :fluttercry::raritydespair: But we don't have any insurance. She did do some paperwork today to get onto this extension of Obamacare so that's given some hope.

It's just i cant do it, i cant do it guys i cant loose my momma. I'm sorry for troubling you guys with this but just really need someone to tell me its going to be okay. :raritydespair:

I may not know all of you, but I just want to let everyone here know that I love and appreciate every single one of you.

It's just, i dont know what to do guys i dont know what to do...

I'm sorry to hear about your mother.:ajsleepy: I hope she recovers, I don't know what else to say.:ajsleepy:

3625800 Thank you...

I really hope so too. :ajsleepy:

I'm sorry to hear that this has happened to your mother. Is there anyone in your family who is a match for her?

3625820 We dont know were looking were just looking. We've been looking at foods that could help detox her liver like garlic, grapefruit and beets

i just want my mom home for Christmas...

I know the feeling of wanting a parent home for Christmas. Do what you can to help and ease your mother's burdens.

3625852 I am. Just... just i wish i could do a lot more...

3625856
I know. We want the answers to be right in front of us so we can grasp them, but more often then not, they alluded us. Whatever little things you see around your house, that you can do for your mother, do them. They may seem boring and unimportant to you; but to your mom, you will show that you care enough about how she feels about things, to do them.

3625860 I know, and my sister knows as well... My mom has always been there for me and her, especially me when i was young. I had a seizure when i was around 13 months old cus of the over vaccinations the doctors gave me and i became autistic. They all said i would never recover but my mom wouldnt give up. She put me on a special diet and got me professional help and made me better.

She's the reason why I'm here. She's my hero. I just cant loose her. :raritydespair:

I know it's something that none of us want to deal with, but it is a natural order of life that the children will bury their parents. My father's mother buried three of her children before she passed and my father was one of them. When I finally allowed it to sink in that my mother is going to one day die, I cried for three days and I am not a crier. I've also talked several times with my mother on what she wants done when she passes, so that I can honor her last wishes.

No one like it, but heroes die. However, legends live on. You and your sister are proof of your mother's existence and one day you are going to have kids of your own, if you don't have them already. At that point, it will be up to you to share the life of your mother with them. Next time you are with your mom, ask her stuff. Things like her feelings on certain topics, what she would have done differently in raising you, how she feel about her own parents, who is the best rocker? It may seem pointless, but one topic can lead to dozens of others and when it's over you'll know even more about your mom. I once had a three hour discussion with my own mother about several topics that all started with a question about baking.

I hope I'm not coming off as heartless, things that are facts of life rarely allow us to be sympathetic. If you're worried about forgetting any of these things about your mother, try writing them down.

So sorry to hear about this, but very glad they identified the problem so they can tackle it. Also glad to hear that specific food is being looked at to help detox. I know some doctors work miracles with their knowledge of nutrition's effects on certain ailments. You might be able to help occupy your mind by doing some research online too. Could be calming to feel more in the know.
I hope all is well very soon.

3625890 I get what your saying. And i appreciate it, its just I'm still in high school and there's no reason why this should be happening. But there is some hope.

We're trying to get approved for the obamacare insurance and the hospital is looking for any possible donners. Plus we've been looking at some ways to try and detox her liver with some certain foods.

Apparently, stuff like Garlic ( Just a small amount of this pungent white bulb has the ability to activate liver enzymes that help your body flush out toxins), Grapefruit, Beets and Carrots, Green Tea, Leafy Green Vegetables, Avocados, Apples and Olive Oil are shown to help the liver heal. So theres that.

3625896 Thank you melody. I have been looking up stuff. I talked to my mother not to long ago and we're going to start this new diet to try and help her detox.

Oh I'm terribly sorry about your mother! I wish I can reach through the computer screen and give you a big hug. I will be saying my prayers for you and your mom.

i'm so sorry I hope and pray that she will be okay

Thank you. We're looking at all options we could try from transplant to a detox diet.

3626175 what is a detox diet ?

3626032 Well its her liver that is the problem. But I have been doing some research on methods of getting back in action and flushing out the toxins and apparently there are some foods like garlic and grapefruit among others that could help with that.
