Finally! One more chapter to edit before I make my EQD bid once more. I actually retooled Chapter 4 quite a bit; one issue Kurbz brought up when he did my review is how I don't really address the injury Rainbow Dash gets from the bear in Chapter 3. So I did something about that. :P
It's weird picking up a story again after over half a year. There are some season 2 episodes that would end up changing how things play out, or affecting characters' motivation; one specifically being the existence of Tank, and the events of Baby Cakes. For the purposes of what I plan to do with Pinkie Pie the story needs to take place prior to Baby Cakes so I've actually set the time period as a little while following May the Best Pet Win but a few months prior to Baby Cakes. I sort of feel like I'm only haphazardly referring to these events thus far, so chapter 5 is gonna get a darn near rewrite to make it work a little better.
I've also seen a few comments regarding the fact that you can't really see the shipping at first. That's intentional. I like to build up the relationship between the characters in-story instead of having it exist already. It gives me an excuse to write extra fluff. : )
At any rate, I hope I didn't drastically change the tone of Chapter 4, and thanks to anyone that's still reading/waiting for the next chapter. ^_^
Having only just started reading it today... I think its quite good, even if there is a majour lack of shipping for a lot of the story.

I remember reading this story ages ago when it was still being updated! Super glad to see more work on it, and I gave it a re-read. Can't wait to read the rest! Good luck with EQD, btw.
