Don Bluth's Dragon's Lair Movie in the Works! · 8:31pm Nov 27th, 2015

Hey everypony! How are you all doing? I hope well, and let me say I also hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving. :)

But let me get to the point. Does anyone recall a one Mr. Don Bluth? If you don't, then perhaps you know of his work. ;3 He was the creative genius and animator for some of the greatest animated films of our time. His work includes the Land Before Time, An American Tale, the Secret of Nimh, Thumbelina, Anastasia, the list goes on.

Now with that said, he was also the creative mind behind one of the most innovative and iconic arcade games to ever grace the 80's: Dragon's Lair. The tale of a little knight named Dirk the Daring who goes into a forbidden castle to save the beautiful Princess Daphne from the evil dragon Singe. It's so beautifully animated, you'd almost swear you were watching a movie...

Now, Don Bluth has long since retired from his career of animation, but... it just so happens that he has known of the potential of a Dragon's Lair movie, and will begin an Indiegogo campaign in order to bring it to life, starting on December 1st. That's right friends, Don Bluth, one of the great animation gods, if he is able to raise enough money, will come out of retirement to give us one more film! :D

Now I could go on forever about it, but i think it would be best if i just let the professionals explain.
