    MLP unrelated: VVS 100th Anniversary

    ...has come, and gone.
And it's been awesome! RD most certainly would approve ;)

Didn't take too many pictures myself, because of the battery suddenly losing charge. Thankfully, there were a lot of other people with far superior camera optics anyway.

    Random musings

If there are such things as top-down and bottom-up programming, I wonder if bottom-up and top-down writing also exists.

    TCB - FF progress

Hello everyone watching me and my story.

After some hesitation, I've decided to split the original Ch.II in two; some of the things I initially intended for it will now go into chapter three. This way I'll prevent it from becoming too long and eclectic and also solve some time-line issues. Now, I...

    Sorry, what was that?

Such as this one - it's pretty much the first batch of quality photos to arrive, too. Enjoy:

Let's see, left to right: Su-27, Su-25, and MiG-29 ?
I've never seen a Russian airshow before. Looks cool.

You're spot on! I guess the only difficult ones were the Su-25s in the middle - the 27 is pretty well-known, and the 29s are easily identifiable by their smoky exhaust lol)

As for the show - yeah, I enjoyed it a lot! Although, probably for different reasons than you would have (if you were there).
It is possible to see a great deal of modern Russian aviation every two years at MAKS air shows; however, since this was a one of a kind event, and an anniversary at that, we had many foreign guests: Italian, British, Polish aerobatic teams, a couple of Rafale fighters from France, too.
And most importantly, there were a lot of warbirds: a B-25, a Hurricane, a Mustang, a Corsair and many others. There even was a mock combat between a Fokker Dr.I and some Nieuport-esque biplane. Normally we don't get a lot of these, so that was a very rare and valuable opportunity to see these historic aircraft in flight and with our own eyes.
