Chapter of Tales of Another Ponyville · 9:04pm Nov 19th, 2015
I was prevailed upon to contribute a chapter to Tales of Another Ponyville, an ongoing anthology of short (~1000 word) stories from the perspectives of all the G3 characters... in Equestria's future. I say all, but it may not work out that way, given that almost all the chapters so far have been about major G3 characters and that still leaves a huge number of others waiting in the wings. Meanwhile, I only made the problem worse by writing about poor, dear, sweet, precious Skywishes, who is too good for this sinful earth. She has a big heart and big dreams and a confused brain and only about 1300 words to express herself in!
(Granted, her big dreams mostly involve Starcatcher sweeping her off her hooves a second time, only this time they go on a tour of her bedroom instead of her island. But Starcatcher is married in this alternate continuity, so that had to be deemphasized...)
Those little 1,300 words made me about die from the sweetness, I loved it so much. I then immediately watched Dancing in the Clouds, so thank you so much for introducing me to this.
And then I stumbled across this on YouTube and oh my god yes I want to ship it so hard???? help
too good for this sinful earth is right
oh my heart
3555586 Thank you! The WishCatcher ship is of course traditional. (e.g.) That clip there is from Friends are Never Far Away, basically G3's only ever direct sequel because G3 is weird--it focuses on a lot more characters than Dancing in the Clouds does, but that's okay, because one of them is Thistle Whistle, who is not okay with anything including the simple act of being a G3 pony.
(Skywishes wasn't the first G3 character to be rereleased with wings in her G4 incarnation--I think that was Blossomforth--but she was certainly the most touching.)

Yeah, Skywishes is Bebopping Bee Bop, and Starcatcher has her king, so I'm glad you concentrated on their friendship! ^^
Thank you so much for the wonderful chapter!
3566615 Skywishes' using "you know what I mean" to refer to, uh, bebopping was too perfect for me to mind the surprise heterosexuality. :)
