Mane 6 Body Size Guide: Twilight Sparkle

Once again, things I think of while work is slow. This is mostly aimed at anthros, but can be adapted for pony and human forms as well. Starting with Twilight and will be hitting the others soon.

Twilight Sparkle:

Pre-Acention: Twilight is a bookworm, through and through. Her times are spent most often sedimentary, sitting or standing in one place for long lengths of time. This, combined with her habit of going long stretches of time without eating, gives her an overall frame that is thinner than most with arms and legs just a bit more than skin and bone with lack of fat and muscle mass. While time with her friends has helped to alleviate this somewhat, she still has a mostly thin body with barely a curve to her waist and hips and a chest that is almost completely flat.

She stands about average to other ponies including the Mane 6 and while she is often standing or hunched over a table, time with Celestia has given her the habit of straightening her back when around others so she rarely slouches, despite the occasional back and shoulder pains that would follow such extremes.

Personal hygiene wise, Twilight is strictly functional. Her hair is trimmed to be out of her eyes and face and lacks any modification outside of what Rarity might do occasionally. Nails (Hooves) are cared for just enough that they do not hinder her work.

Her cloths are often simple, casual and functional. Everything serves a purpose in her attire. That isn't to say she doesn't own extra attire, spending time with Celestia and Rarity has helped to fill her closet.

Common items on Twilight's person: Quills/Pens, notepads, extra ink, and at least one or two books.

Post Accession: After becoming an Alicorn, Twilight's body is quickly starting to change. Already her height has increased (stories would do best to have one mention of cloths that no longer fit) and it follows to reason that has the Earth Pony aspect of her starts to grow in, her body would also thicken in some places.

As she grows, Princess Twilight would naturally grow a curve to her body as her chest and hips grow. Her wings will be groomed, but only somewhat more than is needed. While becoming a Princess has caused Twilight to become somewhat more self-conscious about her appearance, more often than not because she doesn't want to embarrass Celestia, her predilection towards function over form will still win out.

Becoming a Princess also meant her own staff of help and servants. This meant less times that she might go without eating. (I know this doesn't fit with the show canon, it fits with common sense) Twilight's body would naturally start to develop fat, mostly structural, giving her arms and legs a more appealing shape as her Earth Pony aspect increases her predilection towards muscle growth.

After Ascending, Twilight now stands towards the front of the group in height .
