This edition of Story Search involves Princess Luna again! This time, it's more of a stretch than usual, since I only have a single glimpse of a character to go on, and I don't even think it's the protagonist this time.
The story I am thinking of this time features a Luna who is actually a linguistic genius, who would have no trouble adapting to modern speech if she wanted to—her speech has all those idiosyncrasies because she wants to talk like that, and she sounded just as weird before her banishment! It's perhaps the most logical explanation of why, in the actual series, Nightmare Moon sounded perfectly modern but Luna did not.
I can't tell you how much of a main character Luna is, or anything else about the story, so I'm not expecting results for a while even aside from the rarity of people who actually stumble across this blog. Moreover, there's no prize for answering as such, although you will certainly have my thanks, and also a nice segue into asking for my proofreading services!
