Making Changes

Pyro here...well, Imagineer now. I changed my username into the title of the career I wish to pursue. Here's hoping things will work out, and I'll fulfill this goal of mine. I guess it has always been a bit of a dream of mine to work with Disney...

Anyways, as you can tell, I'm making a few changes. I'm getting rid of most of my older blogs, and I changed up my avatar to a picture of the Invisible Man. I've had a boring Changeling there ever since I joined the site, so I figured I could do with something new.

I have finalized my decision to postpone publishing my story until after I have two complete chapters. The prologue is pretty much finished, but the first chapter is going to take a while longer since I'm switching directions from what I had envisioned several years ago. One of the big questions I'm giving myself is whether I want to make this story into multiple "books" if you will, or if I'm going to make it an indefinite series. I'm leaning towards the former, but I'm still deciding how exactly I'm going to divide them up. It's not going to effect the chapters I'm working on at this point of time that much, but it will define how I'm going to pace myself. As I mentioned in the last blog, I've given myself essentially a year and a half to work with. I'm not too pressured to speed on up to the most recent of events, especially since Season 5's finale is going to be such a huge deal, but I definitely am hoping to be at Twilight's ascension and coronation by January or February. I think that will be the point when I end the beginning and create the next book. I'm also going to be holding off on the spin-offs until then, but might do something else on the side. As I said, I'm considering participating in writing contests, so that should also help me prepare for the burden I'm bringing upon myself.
