Welp, it's been a good run. These last few days have filled my heart with that brony spirit; I couldn't ask for better supporters and fans. You guys are the best, dontchu ever forget that.
Tomorrow, I set off for college and a new life in a different state and OMG I NEED TO PACK. Thus, as it pains me to write this, there is a good chance I won't write anything ever again. As my time and energy goes into pursuing my future career and hobbying in athletics, my time will be as crunched up as it can possibly get. And I don't know about you, but writing takes a lot out of me, and eats up my time like.... a hungry person eats.... food.... yeah.
Anyway, I just wanted to say that I had a great time. I apologize to the people that just started watching me, yeah... not much new activity coming from this young'un. I will continue to reply to comments on my work and stuff as they come, but I don't think I'll be able to write anything substantial for quite some time. Maybe when I get solidified in a good job... 7 years from now, I'll have time.
Although, college may be kind of... I dunno, I might find myself idle in college. I have no idea what to expect. Hopefully I'll land a girlfriend.... yeaaaaaaaaaaah.
But in the sorry case that I never return with a bold new project, I want to thank y'all for sticking with me all this time. It's been a wild ride.

Oh man, this is kind of out of the blue
Honestly, I really hope you'll still stick around to read and comment on stuff here... but more than that, even if you end up giving up this site entirely, I hope that you manage to make the most out your new college. Moving to a new state must be a real adventure (certainly more adventurous than me moving just a hundred miles away for uni), and as much as I hate to admit it sometimes, real life comes before ponies.
But just promise me one thing: even if you don't post it up here, and even if it has absolutely nothing to do with ponies whatsoever, try not to give up writing entirely. Hell, if it's just the occasional little poem in a private journal or something, that would be enough. I still haven't had a chance to check out Pony for Christmas 2 yet, but the original Pony for Christmas and You Won't Understand This are still two of my very favourite stories on this site -- you might like to know that so far, you're the only writer who has more than one story featured on my homepage.

I think you'll find yourself with time in college, I know that I did. I don't think you should give up writing, nor do I think you entirely will, but it's your choice to make (obviously). I think the therapeutic value of writing, especially of your type of writing, is something you'll need in that environment, but I also agree that real life comes before ponies.
We first became friends in a time when you had given up hope. I saw something of myself in that, and by you pushing through that hopless depression and finding new strength you inspired me to soldier on as well. Since then, I've seen you make some great things, and you really deserve the accolades you've earned.
In the time I've known you, you've been a good friend, and you've had a good run. You certainly went out with a bang, and I certainly wish you luck on your future endeavors. You've got what it takes to do whatever you want, and, more importantly, to be happy in life.
I hope we can stay friends and talk again soon! Until then, keep on keeping on!
Trust me, you'll continue writing. You won't realize it, but eventually you'll be 100K words in a story and realize you still have a paper due.
And then you'll keep writing that story.
